  • WHEN SHOULD I BOOK?
    The sooner the better! We currently book as early as 18 to 24 months in advance for wedding dates during the busy summer months. Our availability is based on a first come first serve basis.
  • HOW LONG WILL MY SERVICES TAKE?
    The total service time will depend on your desired look, the number of people in your party and the type of services required. On average we budget 1 hour per service for brides and 45 mins per service for attendees I will confirm the specific timeline approximately 1 month before your service date. It is important to provide accurate numbers for people wanting services, as well as appropriate finish times to ensure things run smoothly and I am able to accommodate you. Bridal Trials for hair and makeup services will typically run 1 to 1.5 hours each as we will take time to discuss all of your wedding details and vision for your look.
  • HOW DO I BOOK?
    Click Here to book your services. Once the Inquiry form has been submitted I will contact you directly to schedule a quick facetime or video chat just to go over the details of your big day, what style of look you envision for it, as well as then you can get a better sense of who I am and my personality to make sure I am the best fit for you to make your day extra special! You will then receive a personalized quote and contracts within 24-48 hours. You will have 10 days to accept the offer. Once you've decided we are the best fit for you, we require all signed contracts and the required retainer (to be paid via e-transfer) to sabrina@lushandlavishbeauty.com You will then receive an official confirmation email from us and you will officially be booked as a Lush & Lavish bride! Sabrina will be available for any and all questions you may have along the way.
  • WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A RETAINER?
    Your retainer is used to secure your event day and will be considered towards the full amount due. Since we plan our season a year in advance and dates fill up quickly (especially during wedding season) the deposit is non-refundable for reasons such as cancelation of date, change of date/event/show, weather, sickness/injury, accident, change of heart/mind/decision. The retainer may only be transferrable if Lush & Lavish Beauty is available on the new required date otherwise it will be foregone.
  • HOW DO I PAY THE RETAINER?
    Etransfer only to sabrina@lushandlavishbeauty.com You will receive an email saying the funds have been deposited, allowing you to keep track of when and how much you paid reducing any possible confusion.
  • WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DOES LUSH & LAVISH BEAUTY ACCEPT?
    We prefer payments to be sent via E-transfer to sabrina@lushandlavishbeauty.com
  • HOW DO I TIP?
    Tips are never expected but always appreciated! If you are happy with your services and wish to tip they may be done so in cash or in a e-transfer separate from your total owed invoice.
  • WHY ARE TRIALS MANDARTORY FOR BRIDES?
    Bridal trials are an opportunity for both of us to ensure you have the exact look you want for your big day and any adjustments can be made then, so the wedding day can be as stress free as possible. During your trial, I will take notes on any products I am using, as well as tons of photos and videos to ensure we can easily replicate your look on the big day. Sabrina will also follow up with you the following day to see how everything wore and how you are feeling post bridal trial.
  • WHAT DO I BRING TO THE TRIAL?
    You will need inspiration images of the look you would like to see, as well as any accessories you may be using. Please ensure you have clean, dry,, smoothed hair and a clean, moisturized face.
  • WHERE DO WE DO THE TRIAL?
    At Lush & Lavish Beauty Studio in South Edmonton (Address is provided once booking is confirmed)
  • WHAT DO I PROVIDE ON THE DAY OF?
    Although every location is different, there are a few things that help ensure you get the best results with your services. For makeup services it is always best to have good natural lighting & a table large enough for us to set up on. Kitchens are typically the best as they usually have the best lighting, barstool or taller chairs, plug-ins and ample space. For hairstyling we absolutely need access to power for our tools, ideally low chairs .
  • WHAT SHOULD I DO TO PREPARE FOR MY SERVICES?
    We make sure to send our brides detailed newsletters leading up to both the trial and wedding day for how to prepare. Clients should arrive with clean, dry, smooth hair, and a clean, moisturized face, as well as inspiration images of what they would like for their final look.

  • WHAT TYPES OF PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
    Our entire team use professional, luxury products and brands that are tired and true staples. Some of our favourite brands include Makeup Forever, Charlotte Tilbury, MAC Cosmetics, NARS, Urban Decay and Anastasia Beverly Hills.
  • CAN YOU ACCOMODATE LARGE WEDDING PARTIES?
    Absolutely! We have highly trained and certified artists that allow us to accommodate larger parties and also create a more enjoyable and stress-free experience!
